Dr. Dennis Bialaszewski, President

Dennis Bialaszewski was appointed as Director of Alpha Iota Mu at the SIGED:IAIM meeting in Montreal (2007). Dennis has been involved with IAIM for several years and has served as a Past President and also Program Chair. He has served as Co-Editor of the Journal of Education for MIS for four years.

    Dennis received his Ph. D. from SUNY at Buffalo. He is a past recipient of the New York State Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. He was a tenured Associate Professor at Mississippi State University prior to moving to Indiana State University. Dennis was also involved with administration as he served as the Chair of the Department of Systems and Decision Sciences for 10 years.

    Dennis has more than 60 publications and is a member of several professional/academic organizations. He has also received awards in the service area. Currently, he serves as the President of the Terre Haute Noon Optimist Club and recently received the Optimist of the Year Award from that club. He also served as Secretary for the Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association for eight years and is currently serving on their Board of Directors.
